Schendel will perform a thorough inspection of your home to determine if there is any termite activity and if there are areas in your home conducive to termites. Our inspector will review the results with you and discuss a treatment plan that's tailored to your needs.
Termites cause $5 billion in property damage each year. Our first priority is to stop the termites that are damaging your home. The process of stopping these active termites depends on the size and location of the activity. Schendel will utilize all of our termite resources to prevent these destructive creatures from causing more damage. These resources include the Advance Termite Bait System, along with Termidor foams and gels. Each of Schendel's termite technicians have an average of six years' field experience. Several have been in their positions for decades. All know what techniques and products work best in any given situation. Schendel has been protecting the health and property of our customers since 1947, and you can trust your home to their expertise.
Once the termites that are damaging your home are stopped, we focus on the thousands left foraging around your property. Installation of the Advance - Termite Bait System will allow Schendel to determine the locations of termite activity. This bait system uses pressed wood and purified cellulose - the filet mignon for termites. If termites feed on the baits, our technicians know there is a colony in the area that needs to be eliminated.
S.T.E.P. Four - Monitor and BaitSchendel will return to your home four times each year to check every Advance station. If termite activity is found, your Schendel technician will place bait in the station that can kill up to 400,000 termites (up to 8 times the amount of other baiting programs). The Advance termite bait is pet-friendly, family-friendly, effective and environmentally sound. You will receive quarterly written updates documenting any activity found in the Advance stations.
The Schendel Termite Elimination and Protection program includes a termite damage warranty*, which covers the repair costs of any new termite damage that occurs 90 days or more after the initial treatment. Schendel will monitor the bait stations quarterly and perform a complete inspection of the structure for termites once a year. This on-going monitoring is a key component of our comprehensive protection program since studies have shown that new colonies of termites can move into an area where termites were previously eliminated.
