Kansas State Graduate to Provide Cutting-Edge Knowledge and Support to Schendel Technicians and Customers

(Topeka, KS September 8, 2006) Schendel Pest Services, a privately-held leading provider of complete pest management services to commercial and residential clients in seven states, has announced the hiring of Joel Perez-Mendoza, Director of Technical and Training Services.

Dr. Perez-Mendoza is a well-known educator and lecturer within the pest control industry. Most recently, Dr. Perez-Mendoza was a research entomologist for Montana State University. Previously, he held positions with both the United States Department of Agriculture and the Mexican Department of Agriculture as a research entomologist. Dr. Perez-Mendoza has also taught several college-level courses at major universities, symposiums and other industry workshops.

Dr. Perez-Mendoza will be responsible for developing and delivering cutting-edge technical training to Schendel Pest Services’ 90 employees. He will also develop and implement new service strategies for both residential and commercial Schendel customers.

According to Schendel Pest Services President Brent Boles, the hiring of Dr. Perez-Mendoza is a testament to Schendel’s focus on customer satisfaction. “For a pest control company of our size to be able to hire such a well-regarded Research Entomologist shows that we are committed to providing our customers with the best possible tools to manage their pest control needs. Dr. Perez-Mendoza will work out of Schendel’s Topeka headquarters.
